The Global Business Roundtable (GBR), a Christian Non-Profit Organisation that specialises in developing people holistically, is hosting a high-profile two-day KwaZulu-Natal launch initiative in Durban on 31 August and 1 September 2018. The NGO’s ‘Women of Character’ Summit, presented in partnership with the KZN Provincial Government, is themed “Arise & Shine, Positioning Women for the Great Revival”.
The first day of the summit takes place at the Elangeni Hotel, 63 Snell Parade, North Beach, on 31 August from 09h00 – 18h00, and the second part of the programme is at the Olive Convention Centre, 81 Somtseu Road, North Beach, on 1 September between 09h00 and 13h00. Entry is free, limited tickets are available from www.reglotickets.com.
Expanding on the theme of the BGR WOC KZN Summit, the message put out on its website www.wocsummit.com states: “As a global platform with a mandate of holistic development, with this Summit we challenge women to raise and shine their own light. Now is the time for women to shape Africa’s destiny in their fullness, taking charge of the roles and positions God has given them in the various mountains of society, thus making an impact within their families, ministries, organizations, communities, and nations. We have invited women from government, business, academia, the church, NGOs and other relevant organizations to come to share the various ways in which women can lead, influence and bring about lasting, divinely inspired solutions to societal challenges we face.”
The WOC fund-raising Gospel Gala Concert takes place at the Olive Convention Centre on 1 September between 17h00 and 22h00. Tickets from R200 are available from www.reglotickets.com, also available at the door.
